Liverpool midfielder James Milner has provided more assists than any other Reds player this season.
The experinced midfielder has however raised eyebrows as stats show he has provided more assists than Mesut Ozil in 2016.
Milner has made 12 assists and scored seven goals in 32 appearances for Liverpool this season. Nine of those assists have come since the turn of the year.
Ozil looked set to break assist records when he already racked up 15 assists by January. However, the Germany international has only managed four assists since the beginning of 2016.
The former Real Madrid star would have had more assists to his name had it not been for the profligacy of his teammates. Ozil has created the most chances in the league (122) but Arsenal have the lowest goal record in the top four.
The Gunners take on West Brom next weekend in the Premier League.
