Besiktas are in advanced talks with Aston Villa’s left-back Aly Cissokho according to the Turkish newspaper AMK.
The report states that the Istanbul giants have offered the France international a three year deal. AMK go onto state that Besiktas board member Erdal Torunoğulları has been in talks with the players agent this week.
Fellow Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor are also in talks with Cissokho according to Haberturk.
The 28-year-old does however, have another two-years remaining on his current deal with Aston Villa but could be tempted to leave following Aston Villa’s relegation from the Premier League.
Besiktas are currently top of the Turkish league with 6 points in 29 games. The Black Eagles are five points ahead of their Istanbul rivals Fenerbahce.
Cisskokho has made 18 appearances in all competitions for Villa this season but spent the first half of the season on loan at Porto.
