Mesut Ozil played a starting role in Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over West Brom in the Premier League earlier today.
The 27-year-old was included in Arsene Wenger’s starting eleven and was deployed in his favoured number ten role behind the striker Olivier Giroud.
However, it was Ozil’s teammate Alexis Sanchez who stole the limelight on the night. The Chile international found the back of the net twice to ear the Gunners all three points.
Arsenal take on relegation battlers Sunderland in the Premier League on Sunday. The north London based side moved back into third place after tonights win.
