Mesut Ozil was surprisingly left out of the PFA Team of the Year which was announced yesterday.
The Germany international experinced his best season at Arsenal since joining for a club record fee of £42 million from Real Madrid back in September 2013.
The Team of the Year has been dominated by players from Tottenham and Leicester City. West Ham United’s Dimitri Payet has also been included in the team.
Arsenal fans were not pleased at their talisman being excluded and took to social media to voice their discontent.

Arsenal have moved back into third place in the Premier League following their win over West Brom. Ozil has provided 19 assists for the Gunners this season.
