Borussia Dortmund managing director Michal Zorc has played down latest injury to Ilkay Gundogan.
The German tabloid newspaper Bild have claimed the 25-year-old was seen with his calf bandaged following Dortmund’s win over Berlin.
Bild goes onto state that Gundogan ‘walked silently and frustrated’ in the dressing room.
The latest injury to Gundogan comes off the back of another injury he picked up in March which kept him out for a month.
The Daily Mail state that Gundogan will sign a five year deal keeping him in Manchester until 2021. Liverpool have also been closely linked with the midfielder according to the Daily Star newspaper.
The Sun claims that City director of football Txiki Begiristain and Pep Guardiola have managed to convince the Germany international of Turkish origin to join the club after weeks of talks.
Gundogan currently has one-year remanning on his contract with Dortmund which expires in June but he is reported to have refused to sign a new deal in order to push through a summer transfer.
