Mesut Ozil missed yesterday’s encounter between Arsenal and Manchester City due to a hip injury.
The Gunners’ posted a tweet on their official twitter account confirming the news shortly before kick-off.
Arsenal went on to secure a 2-2 draw with Manchester City and can move into second place if Tottenham lose to Newcastle on the final day of the season.
