Arsenal star Mesut Ozil took a break from touring the middle east to meet Bristol City boss Wael al-Qadi and his family in Jordan.

Al-Qadi is also the chairman of the Asian Football Development Project which setup a project to invite Ozil to play a game with Syrian refugees.

Ozil travelled to Dubai with his friends on a private jet following the end of the season before visiting Jordan and meeting with Prince Ali and then playing a football game with young refugees.

The 27-year-old visited the Zaatari Refugee Camp in partnership with the Asian Football Development Project (AFDP).

Ozil posted a video of himself playing with the Children on his official Twitter page.

The Arsenal playmaker is heavily involved in charitable projects and even has one of his own. Ozil founded the ‘Özil-Foundation’ in 2015 to support children and young people around the world.

Ozil has now left Jordan but has not revealed the exact whereabouts of his next destination.
