Chelsea’s Didier Drogba misses Turkish food
[divider]Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has said that he misses eating Turkish food in Istanbul.
The former Galatasaray striker spoke with Anadolu Agency reporters while attending the Football Writers’ Association award ceremony.
“I miss lots of things about Turkey but i especially miss the food,” Drogba told AA.
“The Turkish food was always amazing. I miss my friends there too, they made me feel very comfortable in Istanbul.”
Drogba and Messi recently featured in an advert for Turkish Airlines called #EpicFood.

Drogba joined Galatasaray on a free transfer from Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua in January 2012. The Ivory Coast international spent two seasons at Galatasaray and scored 20 goals in 53 games.
The powerful striker returned to Stamford Bridge last summer following spells with Shanghai and Galatasaray. Drogba has scored six goals in 24 appearances for Chelsea this season.
Drogba has been linked with a move to MLS at the end of the season but is keen to stay at the London based club.
