Brazilian clubs interested in Diego says father [divider]
Diego Ribas has attracted interest from Brazilian clubs but none would be able to afford him according to his father Djair Ribas da Cunha.
“Yes there is interest, but no one in Brazil is in a position to pay what Diego gets in European football. I’m interested in buying a helicopter, but I can not afford it,” he told UOL Esporte.

Brazilian Serie A side São Paulo were reported to have offered Fenerbahce €6 million for Diego and Cruzeiro have also been closely linked with the 29-year-old playmaker.
Diego joined Fenerbahçe on a free transfer from Atletico Madrid in the summer.
The former Atleti play-maker was part of the side which won the Spanish League and reached the UEFA Champions League final last season.
The former Brazil international was struggling for playing time early in the season but has won the trust of manager Ismail Kartal and played in the Yellow Canaries last three games.
Diego has made one goals and three assists in 14 appearances in all competitions for the Yellow Canaries this sesaon.
The 29-year-old attacking midfielder still has two-years left on his contract.
