Arda Turan has signalled his intent to remain at Barcelona this summer following a strong performance during the La Liga giants 3-1 victory over Celtic last week.
The 29-year-old struggled to break into the staring line-up last season and made just 18 appearances for Barcelona. However, Turan returned to training early this summer in order to gain full match fitness and was one of the stars of the show against the Scottish champions.
Turan scored the games first goal in the 11th minute in sensational style with the assist coming from Aleix Vidal.
Turan has been linked with seven clubs over the past week following reports from Spain that the club must raise money for the transfer of a new striker. The Sun report that Chelsea and Arsenal are among the clubs interested and that Barca would be willing to accept £20 million.
Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez has hwoever denied claims that Turan will be sold over the summer transfer window.
