Arsenal playmaker Mesut Özil has been a lion, a phoenix but now he fancies himself as a bit of an ace.
Özil shared an image on his Instagram account in a Germany national team shirt with a big shape that loosely resembles the letter ‘A’ alongside the caption: “I am ACE.

The picture is actually a promotion for Adidas’ new ‘Be The Difference’ football boot range, the X and the Ace.
The new boots will mark an end to the iconic Predator, 11pro, Nitrocharge and f50 boot models.
The new X and Ace range of football boots will be released on 25 May 2015.
Özil signed a contract with Adidas in 2013 believes to be worth in the region of €25 million to promote and wear their products. The deal will run until 2020.
The 26-year-old has major endorsement deals with Adidas, Gatorade and Cyrus Genève.
Özil’s sports agency – Özil Marketing GmbH represent FC Koln youth players Barış Sarıkaya and Anıl Çapkın both born in Germany to Turkish parents.
The 25-year-old also employs media consultant Roland Eitel and Haimspel, an agency which looks after his Facebook page.
The Arsenal star also recently joined his teammate Jack Wilshere on the books of Wasserman Media Group headed by Fahri Ecvet.
