Galatasaray manager Hamza Hamzaoğlu stated that his site have their sites on being a force to be reckoned with in the Champions League next season.
The Lions won the Süper Lig title for the 20th time on Monday 25 May 2015 following Fenerbahçe’s 2-2 draw against Başakşehir.
The Istanbul giants have ensured direct qualification into the Champions League for the fourth season in a row.
“This team will aim for greater heights in Europe [the UEFA Champions League] next season. We will strive to stay the course or at least go as far as we can,” Hamzaoğlu told Lig Tv following Fenerbahçe’s draw.

Hamzaoğlu played for Galatasaray as a player from 1991 to 1995 and helped bring Akhisar Belediyespor from the second division to the Süper League in 2011-12 as manager.
The former Galatasaray player became an assistant to national team coach Fatih Terim the following season before replacing Cesare Prandelli as the Lions head coach in November on a deal worth $500,000.
Hamzaoğlu is expected to sign a three year deal as Galatasaray manager at the end of the season.
Galatasaray will have the chance to win the double when they take on Bursaspor on 3 June 2015 at the Bursa Atatürk stadium in the Turkish Cup final.
