West Ham & West Brom target Demba Ba has received offers says club president

Beşiktaş striker Demba Ba has received offers according to club president Fikret Orman.

“It obviously shows we made a good signing there are serious offers there should be serious offers,” Orman told TRT.

“The club will not keep anyone who wants to leave but we do have players we do not want to sell. 

“Demba Ba had a great season and the fans like him but we would only consider a move if we can find a better replacement.”

The Senegalese striker has been closely linked with a move to West Ham and West Brom following a report from the Times linking both Premier League duo with him.

Hammers boss Slaven Bilic is familiar with Ba and signed him on a £6 million move from Chelsea last season while in charge of

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic knows Ba well having signed him from Chelsea while he was Beşiktaş head coach last season.

The Senegalese international scored a career high 27 goals in all competitions under Bilic season. Ba scored 18 Süper Lig goals, hit the back of the net eight times in Europe and also scored in the Turkish Cup.

Ba was the leading scorer in all competitions but second in the Turkish Super Lig behind Bursaspor forward Fernandao (22)

The 29-year-old striker has years of Premier League experience behind him having played for Newcastle United, Chelsea and West Ham in the past.

The Premier League duo could face competition from China and the middle east as both Al Ain and Shanghai Shunhua are reported to be interested.

Recently appointed Beşiktaş manager Şenol Güneş has however, been keen to keep hold of his star striker and Ba does have two-years left on his contract.
