Çalhanoğlu – ‘German teams never give up’ [divider]
Champions League finalists Atletico Madrid may be the favourites going into the Last 16 first-leg tie against Bayer Leverkusen but Hakan Çalhanoğlu underlined that his side will try to cause an upset.
“We know how tough they are but German sides never give up and do have enough quality to make it to the next stage,” Çalhanoğlu was quoted as saying by Radyospor.

Çalhanoğlu has a total of eight goals and seven assists for Bayer in all competitions this season.
The Rojiblancos won the La Liga title last season and reached the final of the Champions League.
Atleti have lost just one of their nine away games in the competition since September 2013.
Bayer have struggled against Spanish sides in the past in knock out stages of European competition.
The Bundesliga outfits have lost their last four two-legged ties against Spanish opposition.
Bayer will be without Turkish international defender Ömer Toprak due to suspension.
Atleti could be without their Turkish international star Arda Turan due to injury and Koke is also a doubt.
