Liverpool legend and Sky Sports football pundit Jamie Carragher believes Reds head coach has done an outstanding job finding the best positions for his new players.
Carragher praised Rodgers for getting the best out of his summer signings.
“The job Brendan Rodgers has done in these last five months is outstanding, there were five new players who come in the summer and there were questions asked early on,” Carragher said speaking on Sky Sports after Liverpool’s 2-1 win over Manchester City.

“There is no way Emre Can was signed as a right sided centre back, these players have come to the club but he has found a system that has suited them.
“He has found a way of playing and getting the best out of these players and deserves praise for that.”
Can started in defence for the ninth consecutive league game against second placed Manchester City.Liverpool have not lost a Premier League game in which Can has started in defence.
The 21-year-old was signed from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer as a central midfielder.Rodgers has however, used Can primarily as a defender this season.
Can has one goal and one assist in 27 appearances in all competitions this season for Liverpool.
