Liverpool FC’s Emre Can could receive Germany call up next season says Low [divider]
Liverpool midfielder come defender Emre Can could receive his first senior German national team call up after the U21 European championships according to Joaquim Low.
The Germany national team head coach will select the best players from the tournament for the senior side.
“Emre Can, [Hoffenheim attacker] Kevin Volland, [Schalke midfielders] Max Meyer and Leon Goretzka — they shall play the tournament in June,” Low was quoted as saying by ESPN.

Germany national team players Sami Khedira, Manuel Neuer, Mesut Özil and Mats Hummels all starred in the 2009 European Under-21 Championship win before being promoted to the senior side.
Can was born in Germany and has represented his country of birth at youth level but is also eligible to represent Turkey.
The 21-year-old is of Turkish heritage and recently declared that he could still play for the Crescent-Stars.
“I could still declare for Turkey, where it might be easier to get a game,” he said.
Can joined Liverpool on a £9.75 million move from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer and has established himself as a key member of Brendan Rodgers back-three.
Despite joining as a central midfielder Can has played as a defender for most of the season.
