Fenerbahçe striker Emmanuel Emenike believes he has turned over a new leaf and that he will continue to fight for his side as the title race hots up.
Emenike came under fire from sections of the press and fans for his poor scoring record this season.
Fenerbahçe have one of the worst conversion rates in the league (9%) and Emenike has been blamed as being the main culprit.
I have accepted it the way it comes, it was not a fair season for me but I think my confidence and energy remains. When I’m on the pitch, the fighting spirit remains and I see my confidence increasing but to be fair I still have more to give,” Emenike told AfricanFootball.com.

Emenike also underlined that he is fully focused on getting the best results for Fenerbahçe and that he hopes to contribute towards his sides title efforts.
“There’s a big priority for me as a Fenerbahce player and I keep giving my best for the team. My contribution and commitment can really turns to be good omen for me. I’m not distracted, and I will not,” he added.
The 28-year-old striker has a total of five goals and four assists in all competitions this season however, he has scored and provided an assist in his last two games.
The Yellow Canaries are currently third in the Süper Lig, just one point behind first placed Beşiktaş and second placed Galatasaray.
Fenerbahçe take on Sivasspor at the 4 Eylül stadium next weekend.
