Juventus are plotting a move for out-of-favour Liverpool star midfielder Emre Can according to Daily Star.
Per the source, the Italian giants are planning to swoop in for the Germany international of Turkish origin who will be out of contract in in 2018.
Can has yet to sign a contract extension and has seen a dip in form over recent weeks.
The 23-year-old has three games for the Reds but has only featured in 19 matches and Liverpool have seen their title challenge collapse since January, falling 11 points behind leaders Chelsea.
A source close to the player recently revealed to Turkish-Football.com that Juventus have been keeping tabs on Can all season.
Juventus are currently first in the Serie A and almost guaranteed Champions League football next season.
Liverpool meanwhile are currently fifth in the league, one point behind fourth placed Arsenal – but the Reds did beat third-placed Tottenham 2-0 in their last league game.
The Reds have over a week long break from now until their next Premier League clash against reigning champions Leicester City on 27 February.
