How Barcelona XI could look with Luis Enrique’s new tactics
Barcelona boss Luis Enrique is contemplating a change of formation according to a report from Goal.
Per the source, Enrique is thinking about dropping Barcelona’s 4-3-3 formation in favour of a 4-2-3-1 set up, following last weeks humiliating defeat against Paris Saint-Germain.
The Catalan giants suffered a 4-0 loss at the hands of the Ligue 1 champions leaving them on the verge of a UEFA Champions League exit.
It will be a bold move for the 46-year-old manager who lifted the La Liga title last season. Barcelona have been playing a 4-3-3 formation since Frank Rijkaard’s appointment back in 2003.
Arda Turan has been deployed on both wings and in central midfield since his arrival at Barcelona but is yet to cement his place in the starting line-up.

A move to a 4-2-3-1 formation could provide the Turkey international with more playing time as it would allow him to play an attacking midfield role with the MSN – Messi, Suarez, Neymar – in the starting team.
Should Luis Enrique make the decision to switch formations, this is how he could set out his starting line-up.
Barcelona take on title rivals Atletico Madrid this weekend in the Spanish league.
