(Video) Barcelona star Arda Turan throws over 50 punches in 15 seconds

Barcelona star Arda Turan is renowned for being a fiery character but it appears he has been channelling his anger – once used for throwing boots at linesmen – into keeping fit and practicing his boxing skills.

A video of Turan has emerged showing him throwing over 50 punches in a combo in just 15 seconds.

Turan appears to enjoy a few sports other than football, the attacking midfielder also has a basketball court installed in his Barcelona home and regularly throws hoops with his friends – which he then shares on Instagram.

The 30-year-old missed Barcelona’s 6-1 victory over Sporting Gijon on Wednesday 1 March due to injury. Turan has returned to training but has yet to regain full match fitness.

Turan has now missed Barca’s last five games in all competitions with injury. The explosive midfielder is however, expected to feature against Celta Vigo on the weekend.

Enrique could do with having Turan back considering Barcelona are in the middle of a congested fixture period. Barca play Celta Vigo on Saturday and then take on PSG in the Champions League mid-week.

Barcelona are currently first in the La Liga table following Real Madrid being held to a 3-3 draw against Las Palmas. Barca lead on goal difference but the Madrid based outfit do have a game in hand.
