(Video) Arda Turan believes his mistake rescued Barcelona
Barcelona pulled off the most incredible of comebacks to turn around a 4-0 first-leg defeat against PSG to book a place in the quarter-finals with a 6-5 scoreline on aggregate in the second-leg.
Turkish international star Arda Turan featured in the return-leg playing the last half-an-hour, replacing Iniesta.

Turan played an important role in Barcelona’s historic comeback but he also almost cost his side dearly moments before Sergi Roberto’s last gasp winner.

The 30-year-old was the last man back when he almost lost possession of the ball. Goalkeeper Ter Stegen came to the rescue with a last ditch tackle.
Turan revealed that he felt it all happened for a reason and had he not made the mistake it could have resulted in a different chain of events.
“Look I could have played a simple pass to keep possession but I had to roll the dice. I tried to pull off a skill and if I had not got caught out and the keeper not made the interception we were not going to score that goal, it all worked out,” Turan was quoted as saying by AMK after the game.
