West Ham transfer news: Bilic joins rivals Chelsea in race for Denmark ace
West Ham United have joined their London based rivals Chelsea in the hunt for Simon Kjear.
A source close to Fenerbahce has revealed to Turkish-Football that the Hammers are interested in signing the Denmark international and have enquired into his availability.
Kjear is no stranger to Hammers boss Slaven Bilic who spent two seasons managing Fenerbahce’s rivals Besiktas.
Meanwhile, the daily Turkish newspaper Fanatik has linked both PSG and Lyon with Kjaer. Per the source the Ligue 1 duo have established contact with the Denmark international’s representatives.

Turkish-Football reported back in January that Premier League leaders Chelsea have monitoring Kjaer however, Fenerbahce rejected all bids for the Denmark international over the January transfer window.
Fenerbahce may however be forced into offloading some of their key players this summer. The Istanbul based club will need to raise money from transfers to satisfy Financial Fair Play regulations if they miss out on UEFA Champions League football.
The Yellow Canaries are currently 4th in the league, 10 points behind league leaders Besiktas.
