Arsenal handed transfer boost as Barcelona look to sell £21m rated star to make way for Angel Di Maria
Barcelona are keen to sell Arda Turan this summer to make way for PSG star Angel Di Maria according to reports in Spain.
Mundo Deportivo claim that Barcelona are prepared to part ways with Turan to free up space – and wages – for the likes of Di Maria.
Per the source, Di Maria is one of three candidates to replace Turan with the other two being fellow PSG teammate Veratti and Sevilla star Victor Machín Pérez.

The La Liga giants have attempted to sign Di Maria in the past but were blocked by an ‘anti-Barcelona clause’ included in his contract while at Manchester United.
Real Madrid included the clause when he was sold to United but Di Maria the clause is no longer active following his move to PSG.
News that Barca are prepared for Turan to exit this summer will come as a transfer boost to Arsenal who have been closely linked with the Turkish international.
In fact the same Spanish newspaper recently reported that Arsenal have held direct talks with Turan’s agent.
The report claims that the reigning La Liga champions would be prepared to accept €25 million [£21m] for Turan.
The attacking midfielder has been spotted in London quite frequently recently and did recently purchase property in the city.
Ahmet Bulut has yet to release a statement regarding the latest transfer rumours but the last time we spoke with him he underlined Turan wants to stay at Barca.
Turan does have another three-years remaining on his contract but his place in the first-team could be in jeopardy depending on which manager replaces current head coach Luis Enrique.
The 30-year-old has been in decent form this season scoring 13 times and seven assists but has had his campaign disrupted by injury problems.
