Lazio make £8m bid for Arsenal target who was part of the Gunners class of 92
Lazio have made an £8 million offer for Besiktas star Oguzhan Ozyakup according to reports in Turkey.
Turkish daily Hurriyet revealed that the Italian giants have made the Black Eagles an offer and that Roma, Inter as well as Sevilla have made an enquiry regarding his price.
The Turkish international has also attracted interest from his former club Arsenal.
Gunners scout scout Jurgen Kost confirmed the club are interested in bringing him back.
Kost was quoted by Turkish-Football as saying: “Ozyakup is a player of the highest standard, we have been closely tracking his progress and when we do our next search for players in his position he could return to Arsenal.”

The central midfielder was part of the Arsenal class of 92 which also featured Jack Wilshere.
The 24-year-old left Arsenal in 2012 in pursuit of first team football and has established himself as a star player at Besiktas.
The Black Eagles are on course to winning the league title for the second year running and they reached the quarter-finals of the Europa League this season.
Ozyakup will have just 12 months remaining on his contract at the end of the season and has yet to sign a new deal.
Besiktas are expected to sell Ozyakup over the summer if he does not agree to an extension.
