Man United transfer news: Mourinho urges Ed Woodward to offer midfielder contract
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has urged chief executive Ed Woodward to offer Marouane Fellaini a new contract.
The Belgium international’s future at Old Trafford has been cast in doubt. Fellaini will have just 12 months remaining on his contract this summer.
Fellaini has also attracted the attention of Turkish giants Trabzonspor. The Turkish Super Lig giants are keen to sign the 29-year-old to mark their 50th anniversary.
However, Man United boss Jose Mourinho is a fan of the combative midfielder. According to the, Belgian sports newspaper HLN, Mourinho wants United to extend Fellaini’s contract by a year.
