Ozyakup has gone onto establish himself as a first team regular for Turkish league champions Besiktas and the national team since leaving Arsenal in 2012.
The midfielder was part of the Gunners class of 92 and won the 2009 Youth Fa Cup alongside the likes of Jack Wilshere and Francis Coquelin.
Turkish-Football recently reported that the North London based outfit are keen on their former youth player returning to the club.
