AC Milan enter talks with Liverpool defensive target, Reds plot alternative after ending Virgil van Dijk interest
AC Milan have entered talks with Liverpool defensive target Simon Kjaer according to reports in Turkey.
Fotomac report that the Italian giants are back in negotiations with Kjaer after Fenerbahce rejected their initial £6.2 million bid.
Per the source, Milan have made an increased £8.9 million offer for the Denmark international.

Turkish-Football report that Liverpool have also been closely linked with Kjaer as an alternative for Southampton defender Virgin van Dijk.
The Reds were forced to issue the Saints with an official apology after Jurgen Klopp was reported to hold secret talks with the player.
Fenerbahce want £15 million for their star man who has another two-years remaining on his contract.
The 29-year-old has also been linked with Brighton recently in the Turkish press.
A source close to the player did however, underline that Kjaer will not be joining the newly promoted Premier League outfit.
The centre-back with 67 international caps will make a decision on his future following his wedding in Rome.
