Arsenal contract rebel close to accepting new £280,000-a-week deal
Arsenal star Mesut Ozil is close to accepting a new contract deal according to the Express.
The 28-year-old currently has just 12 months remaining on his contract.
Ozil did recently rule out a summer move and revealed that he remains committed to the club.
The playmaker of Turkish origin is reported to be nearing a £280,000-a-week deal.

Per the source, Ozil has been holding out for £350,000-a-week but has come to the realisation that he may have to accept a lower bid.
The 2014 World Cup winner did not receive great interest this summer.
Ozil has been locked in talks with Arsenal after a long stand-off between club and player.
The Germany international is reported to be nearing an agreement following ‘positive’ talks.
The Arsenal star is currently on tour with the team in China after spending last week in Australia.
The Gunners are however, no closer to securing a new contract deal for Alexis Sanchez who also has 12 months remaining on his current deal.
The North London based outfit will take on Chelsea next on their China tour.
