Italian giants step up efforts to sign Liverpool star after refusing new contract deal
Reports linking Emre Can with a Liverpool exit continue to circulate in the Italian press.

With Sami Khedira and Claudio Marchisio 30 and 31-years-old, respectively, the Juventus officials are in search of younger alternatives.
The Italian giants are reportedly no longer interested in PSG midfielder Blaise Matuidi as they feel he represents little value for a player of his age.
Despite the latest report, Can did mark his return to Liverpool after an extended break with an impressive display against Hertha Berlin.
The Reds ended up winning their opening Audi Cup game 3-0 in Germany.
Can has under 12 months on his contract but has not revealed or even hinted that he is unhappy at the club.
Liverpool are in talks over renewing his deal but have yet to reach a successful resolution.
