Galatasaray strike deal with Senegal international but put transfer on hold until Man United make decision on star £27m midfielder Marouane Fellaini

Galatasaray are closing in on Osmanlispor’s in-demand midfielder Badou NDiaye.

A source close to the Istanbul Giants has revealed to Turkish-Football that a £6 million fee with the Ankara based club has been agreed for the Senegal international.

Galatasaray have also agreed personal terms with the 26-year-old midfielder.

However, the transfer will only go through if Galatasaray fail to land Manchester United’s Marouane Fellaini.

Galatasaray director of football Cenk Ergun confirmed to Turkish-Football that talks with United are ongoing.

“There will be surprises, we are in talks with Fellaini,” Ergun stated.

Turkish-Football can also reveal that personal terms have been agreed between the Istanbul based club and Fellaini.

Galatasaray are however yet to agree a fee with Manchester United. Furthermore, it seems United boss Jose Mourinho is not keen on selling the Belgium international this summer.

“It’s easier for Galatasaray to get me than to get Maroaune,” Mourinho was quoted as saying by Goal.

“Forget it. He’s too important to me.”

Fellaini has under 12 months remaining on his contract with Man United. The 29-year-old was signed by David Moyes to Man United from Everton for £27 million [BBC].
