Man City star midfielder Ilkay Gundogan visited Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil over the weekend.

The duo are good friends off the field and play together for the Germany national team. Both Gundogan and Ozil are of Turkish decent but were born in Germany.

Ozil shared a photo of himself posing alongside Gundogan to his social media page and included the following caption, “Thanks for dropping by bro. For all the German fans: don’t miss @ilkayguendogan at @zdfsport studio TV show. Will we see a new record at the ‘goal wall’ tonight?”

Ozil missed Arsenal’s victory over their London rivals Chelsea on Sunday. The 28-year-old wasn’t risked by manager Arsene Wenger after suffering a slight ankle injury during the week.
