Arsenal transfer news: Euro giants hold talks with Gunners star’s dad, negotiations at advanced stage
Turkish Super League giants Galatasaray have held talks with Arsenal left-back Kieran Gibbs.
The Istanbul Giants are keen to sign a left back this summer and have already been linked with Napoli’s Ivan Strinic and Juventus’s Kwadwo Asamoah.
The Turkish outlet Fanatik claim that Galatasaray have held talks with Gibbs’ father. Per the source, talks are at an advanced stage while Ozil’s agent Dr Erkan Sogut has been acting as a middle man in negotiations.
Fanatik go onto state that Gibbs’ father has been invited to Istanbul for further talks.

Galatasaray have set aside £4 million for the England international. Gibbs’ contract with Arsenal expires in under 12-months.
The 27-year-old made just 11 Premier League appearances for Arsenal last season. Gibbs is yet to feature for Arsene Wenger’s side this term. The former MK Dons youth appears to be Arsenal’s third-choice left back at the club behind Nacho Monreal and Bosnia international Sead Kolasinac.
Arsenal take on Liverpool this weekend as they look to bounce back to winning ways.
