Crystal Palace transfer news: Eagles launch £10m bid for 20-goal star striker, Newcastle also interested
Premier League club Crystal Palace have launched a bid for Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun.
The Turkish outlet Skorer claim that Palace have submitted a £10 million offer for the Turkey international. Per the source, the Eagles have also offered Cenk a £2 million per season contract.
The report goes onto state that Newcastle United are also interested in signing Tosun and are preparing a late bid.
Tosun has German citizenship so will not need to apply for a work permit in order to play in the Premier League.

The 26-year-old has started every game for Besiktas this season. The Istanbul Giants will need to act fast and sign a replacement if they are to offload Cenk this summer.
Cenk may however find first-team opportunities hard to come by this season after Besiktas signed Alvaro Negredo from Valencia.
The 26-year-old striker has scored five goals in 19 appearances for the Turkey national team.
