West Brom transfer news: £10.6m deal for Brazil international breaks down
West Brom have suffered a major transfer blow on deadline day after failing to land Fenerbahce’s Josef de Souza.
The Brazil international appeared to be set for a move to the Baggies after the club struck a £10.6 million deal with Fenerbahce.
De Souza also appeared to be keen on a move to West Brom while manager Aykut Kocaman confirmed that talks were ongoing.
However, Turkish outlet Sporx state that De Souza returned to Fenerbahce after complications arose in the transfer.
The 28-year-old was pictured in training with the rest of the Fenerbahce squad earlier today.

The Brazil international made the move to Fenerbahce from Sao Paulo for €8 million back in July 2015. De Souza also three caps to his name for the Brazil national team.
The Baggies were held to a 1-1 draw by Stoke City in the Premier League last weekend. West Brom face the newly promoted Brighton this weekend on September 9.
