Former Liverpool winger breaks Super Lig record for quickest red card in third dismissal since leaving Anfield
Besiktas star Ryan Babel made history for all the wrong reasons in the 2-1 defeat to Genclerbirligi at the 19 Mayis stadium on Friday 13 October.
Babel was sent off exactly two minutes and 35 seconds after his introduction to the game.
The Dutch star was part of a double swap which saw himself and Ricardo Quaresma replace Negredo and Jeremain Lens.
The experienced winger saw red for a high foot challenge but looking at the replays it did seem perhaps a little harsh.

Babel has only been sent off four times in his career, once at Liverpool in the Europa League.
The three following red cards were for Al Ain, Kasimpasa and most recently Besiktas.
The 30-year-old has actually been in impressive form this season scoring five times and providing one assists in all competitions for the reigning champions.
