‘All three of those would start for Arsenal. The gulf in quality is real’ – Man City fans claim their bench is better than Gunners first team
Manchester City beat Arsenal 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table.
The City team put on an impressive display but their bench received nearly as much praise from the home faithful.
Pep Guardiola brought on Ilkay Gundogan, Jesus and Bernardo Silva off the bench over the course of the 90 minutes.
Gundogan came on as a second half substitute for the Manchester based outfit.

What a bench! top class. Would the likes of Jesus, Gundogan and Bernardo make the Arsenal first team?
City have brought on Jesus, Gundogan and Bernardo Silva. All three of those would start for Arsenal. The gulf in quality is real and immense

The Wilshere – Gundogan jokes were doing the rounds. Two of the most injury prone players around actually both managed to be on the pitch at the same time.
Gundogan only recently recovered from a lengthy cruciate ligament knee injury that saw him ruled out for several months.
Wilshere and Gundogan tackled each other, they both fell, stood up and they’re not on their way to the hospital. Wonders shall never end.
