Man United star midfielder monitored by Euro giants during 1-0 Chelsea defeat
Manchester United suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of their title rivals Chelsea in the Premier League earlier today.
The defeat leaves the Red Devils in second spot, eight points behind league leaders Manchester City.
Belgium international Marouane Fellaini started the clash on the bench but came on in the second half after United conceded. The combative midfielder came close to levelling the score late on.
Fellaini has been closely linked with a move to Besiktas recently and was spotted in Istanbul earlier this week.
A source close to Besiktas has revealed to Turkish-Football.com that scouts from the club were present during United’s clash with Chelsea.
Per the source, the Istanbul giants are seriously considering a move for the midfielder however, are likely to wait until his contract expires next summer.

The news comes a week after it emerged Fellaini and his representatives held talks with Besiktas in Istanbul.
United boss Jose Mourinho ruled out selling Fellaini over the summer.
“It’s easier for Galatasaray to get me than to get Maroaune,” the Portuguese tactician told Goal.
