‘Came on and looked like a spoilt brat’ – Liverpool fans lay into Emre Can following display against Southampton
Liverpool beat Southampton 3-0 at Anfield to win their third successive Premier League game for the first time in 12 months.
Mohamed Salah scored a brace and Philippe Coutinho scored his sides third goal to wrap up a comfortable victory.
Central midfielder Emre Can did not start for the Reds but did replace Philippe Coutinho in the last 20 minutes.
We took a look at how Liverpool fans reacted to Can’s display on social media.

People always tell me why I don’t rate Emre Can highly. I think he’s vastly overrated by the Liverpool fanbase. If he was truly SPECIAL? Bayern Munich don’t sell him for only £10M! He’s not that great as everyone makes out. He’s ok at best! #LFC

Should Can stay or should he go? that is the big question. Furthermore should he be playing regularly if he isn’t going to sign a new contract deal?
I must say that Emre Can did his self no favours. Came on and looked like a spoilt brat . Gave away free kicks and sloppy passing. I’d bench him now until he signs or leaves . Lalana and Ox are there now. Squad looks better

Should Emre Can or Henderson play as number 6?
The only reason we could play that front 4 was because of Henderson doing defensive work all over the pitch the entire game. But please tell me more about Emre Can being better suited to the role

Are fans being fickle?
My god we go around in circles. Henderson and can are not the answer. One game and we are back to our awesome captain.
