Arsenal star ‘sets Barcelona two-week deadline’ over potential January transfer amid Man United interest

Per the source, the playmaker of Turkish origin is interested in a move to the La Liga leaders.
Ozil’s agent Erkut Sogut is understood to have ben given permission to hold talks with Barcelona over a January move by Arsenal’s new sporting director Raul Sanllehi.

The 29-year-old has reportedly set Barcelona a two-week deadline to make a decision over whether they will sign him over the winter transfer window or not.
The star playmaker is no stranger to Spanish football having already won the La Liga title during his time at Real Madrid.
Arsenal meanwhile remain hopeful that Ozil will extend his current contract deal and have already offered £275,000-a-week in the hope of agreeing terms over an extension.
Ozil has made the squad heading into the London derby against West Ham at the Olympic Stadium tonight.
The 2014 World Cup winner has two goals and five assists in all competitions this season.
