Arsenal receive transfer boost as Atletico Madrid refuse making January bid for £17.5m starlet
Arsenal have one less club to worry about in their pursuit of Trabzonspor attacking midfielder Yusuf Yazici after Atletico Madrid revealed they will not be making an offer.
Atleti have been closely linked with Yazici but will not make a January bid for the star man.
Club CEO Enrique Cerezo revealed that the the La Liga giants will not be making any transfers other than Diego Costa and Vitolo who will be added to the squad once the transfer ban ends in January.

Cerezo said: “No we will not be making an offer for the players mentioned in Turkey,” after being asked whether Atleti will be making a move for Yusuf Yazici.
“Diego Costa and Vitolo will be joining us in January, we will not be making any other transfers.”
Trabzonspor are not keen on selling their star man in January but have set a £17.5 million valuation.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has personally kept tabs on the Turkish international according to his representative Adem Cebeci.
Cebeci said, “Yusuf wants a move to Europe, Dr Erkut Sogut has been in talks with clubs and there is interest from the Premier League, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has watched Yusuf in person.”
Yazici is also represented by Dr Erkut Sogut who is Mesut Ozil’s agent and has close ties to the Gunners.
The 20-year-old has two goals and three assists in all competitions for the Black Sea Storm this season.
The rising star has 10 goals and 16 assists in 46 apperances for Trabzonspor since breaking into the first team last January.
