Chelsea legend warns Bayern Munich will have to take Champions League Last 16 opposition seriously
Besiktas became the first Turkish side to book a place in the Champions League Last 16 as group leaders.
The Black Eagles secured a first place finish in Group G with a game to spare.
Despite cruising through the group stage unbeaten, defeating Porto, Monaco and RB Leipzig away the Istanbul giants ended drawing one of the toughest teams left in the competition, Bayern Munich.
The Bundesliga giants ended up finishing their group second behind PSG.
Chelsea legend and former Bayern Munich player Michael Ballack had his say on the draw in his latest Betfair column.
Ballack felt Bayern will be the happier of the two sides regarding the draw.

Ballack said: “The often mentioned Bayern-luck has struck again. With all due respect to Besiktas and the Turkish league, Bayern will be more than happy with their draw for the next round of the Champions League.”
The former Germany international did however, make it clear that Besiktas are a strong opponent and Bayern will have to take them seriously.
“There is no doubt that Besiktas are a strong opponent, one that Bayern will have to take seriously (of course, as professionals, they take every game and opponent seriously),” he added.
Ultimately thought Ballack feels Bayern will have what it take to make it to the quarter-final stage of the competition.
“Over two legs, Bayern have the strength in their first XI and the depth in their squad to get past Besiktas and into the quarter-finals,” he said.
Chelsea had a 29 percent chance of drawing Besiktas in the Last 16 but drew Barcelona instead.
The Last 16 round will be played between February and March 2018.
