Manchester City are prepared to pay £17.5 million for Trabzonspor wonder-kid according to reports from Turkey.

Fotomac understand that City are preparing a huge bid for the 20-year-old.

Per the source, the Citizens plan to loan Yazici for up to two seasons before integrating him into the first team.

City sent a scout to Turkey last Monday to watch Yazici in action against Antalyaspor.

Trabzonspor ended up winning the clash 3-0 with the Turkish international putting on yet another impressive display.

The Citizens could however, face stiff competition from Arsenal and Tottenham.

Both Premier League sides are preparing a bid for the attacking midfielder.

In fact Gunners manager Arsene Wenger has personally watched the attacking midfielder in action according to his representative Adem Cebeci.

Cebeci said, “Yusuf wants a move to Europe, Dr Erkut Sogut has been in talks with clubs and there is interest from the Premier League, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has watched Yusuf in person.”

Erkut Sogut has close ties to both Arsenal and Manchester City as he is also the agent of Mesut Ozil, Shkodran Mustafi and Ilkay Gundogan.

Yazici burst onto the scene last January after breaking into the Trabzonspor first team.

The 20-year-old already has 10 goals and 16 assists in all competitions for the Black Sea Storm.

The rising star does have another five-years remaining on his contract at Trabzonspor and is expected to remain at the club at least until the end of the season.
