‘He Is Gearing Up To Leave’ – Arsenal legend Ian Wright believes Ozil is playing for a Man United move
Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has been in great form for the North London based outfit recently.
Ozil scored a candidate for goal of the season in the 1-0 win against Newcastle United over the weekend.
The playmaker of Turkish origin has been widely praised in the press on the back of his form.
Arsenal legend Ian Wright also had kind words to say about Ozil but was cynical about the reason behind the star man putting in improved performances of late.
Wright believes Ozil is playing well to attract an offer.

He told The Sun: “Mesut Ozil is finally becoming the player everybody hoped he would be from day one at Arsenal.
“Sure, it’s great to see at the moment but it also makes me feel that there is only one reason for it — he is gearing up to leave.
“It is no coincidence that Ozil (right) turns it on just as January is looming in the final year of his deal when he becomes free to talk to other clubs.
“I hope I’m wrong but I fear I’m right, right, right.
“Given the timing of his sudden improvement I would be stunned if Ozil signs a new deal and stays at Arsenal.”
Ozil will be out of contract at the end of the season unless he signs a new deal with the Gunners.
Manchester United have been closely linked with Ozil and could have him for as low as £8 million according to the Daily Star.
Per the source, United can land the playmaker of Turkish origin for the bargain price of £8m – the figure his representatives are apparently seeking as a sign on fee.
