Everton Boss Gives Cenk Tosun Update, Expects A Development In 24 Hours

Everton manager Sam Allardyce gave an update regarding Besiktas star Cenk Tosun.

Allardyce spoke to Sky Sports following the 2-0 loss against Manchester United at Goodison Park.

The former England national team manager revealed he expects a development within 24 hours.

Allardyce said: “We’ve [Everton] done all we can I think to try and secure the player, we just have to wait and see over the next 24 hours.”

Tosun is currently in London with his wife Ece. The Turkish international is expected to join the Toffees over the next few days.

Turkish-Football reported that Tosun is waiting for Besiktas to give him the green light before travelling up to Merseyside to complete the deal.

The 26-year-old has 14 goals and three assists in all competitions for the Black Eagles this season.
