Everton Could Hold Key To Leicester City Striker Iheanacho Exit
Besiktas are set to lose star striker Cenk Tosun to Everton after Sam Allardyce revealed a deal has been struck between the two clubs.
“We’ve agreed a deal and are at the stage of personal terms. Hopefully, we might be able to get him registered in time to play in the cup,” Allardyce told reporters at his pre-match press conference ahead of the Liverpool FA Cup clash.
Black Eagles president Fikret Orman arrived in London on Tuesday with a delegation including director of football Ali Naibi and Umut Guner.
The reigning Super Lig champions have made signing a replacement a priority.
Besiktas are expected to hold talks with the representatives of Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud and Leicester City forward Islam Slimani.
Fellow Foxes player Kelechi Iheanacho has also emerged as a target according to Bleacher Report journalist Dean Jones.

The Nigeria international has failed to live up to his £25 million price tag, scoring just once since arriving from Manchester City over the summer.
Iheanacho has fallen down the pecking order and is currently third-choice striker under the stewardship of Claude Puel.
The Leicester boss does however, appear to be ready to give the youngster a chance to prove himself.
Puel said: “(Iheanacho) tried, he shoot on target. He had a good opportunity in the first half. He gave his best.
“He’s a young player, he needs to continue to work to improve.
“It was important to see him, to give him game-time. It was a good opportunity for him and other players.
“I was happy with the squad because it was a good level of quality on the pitch and it was a good response after our game against Crystal Palace.”
Besiktas will take on Bayern Munich in the Champions League Last 16 in February.
Iheanacho would be eligible to play for the Istanbul giants in the European competition were he to make the move in January.
