Cenk Tosun is set to undergo a medical at Everton on Friday morning ahead of completing his transfer according to Sky Sports.

Per the source, the Turkey international could be registered with the FA prior to the Liverpool clash.

The Toffees do however, face a race against time to get Tosun’s paperwork sorted before the cup game tonight.

Tosun will need to be registered before midday in order to be eligible for the FA Cup third-round tie.

Everton are set to pay £27 million for the prolific striker making the most expensive player to leave the Turkish Super Lig.

Tosun leaves the Istanbul giants having scored 14 goals and provided three assists this season.

The 26-year-old put on his finest performances this term in the Champions League.

Tosun was directly involved in six of the Istanbul giants 11 goals in the competition helping his side book a place in the Last 16 as Group G leaders – an unprecedented achievement for a Turkish side.
