Liverpool squad revealed ahead of Merseyside derby, £75m defender set for debut
Liverpool will be looking to extend their winning run when they take on their Merseyside rivals Everton in the FA Cup tonight.
The clash takes place at Anfield Stadium while kick-off is scheduled for 19:55 (GMT).
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has opted to rest several of his star names for tonight’s cup clash. Brazil international Philippe Coutinho and summer signing Mo Salah have both been left out.
Emre Can is expected to retain his place in Klopp’s starting eleven despite being closely linked with a move to Juventus over the past week. The 23-year-old has entered the final six months of his contracts.
Klopp will, however, be unable to call upon his club captain Jordan Henderson due to injury.
Meanwhile, defender £75 million Virgil van Dijk could be in line to make his debut following his arrival on January 1.
