Photo: ‘The Big Man’ – Emre Can Singles Out Liverpool Star For Praise After Everton Victory

Liverpool beat rivals Everton 2-1 on Saturday in the FA Cup Third Round clash at the Anfield Stadium.

Emre Can started for the Reds despite reports that he had signed a deal with Juventus to join the Italian giants over the summer before the game.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp continued to show faith in Can despite the rumours after giving him a starring role in midfield.

It was however, debut signing Virgil Van Dijk who was the start of the show scoring a late winner to take Liverpool through to the next round.

Can took to Instagram to share a photograph hugging Van Dijk and referred to his new teammate as the ‘big man’.

Will the nickname stick?
