Everton Transfer Likened To ‘Turkish Harry Kane’ Ahead Of Tottenham Wembley Derby
Everton completed the transfer of Turkey international striker Cenk Tosun from Besiktas last Friday.
The prolific striker is expected to make his debut for the Toffees at Wembley against Tottenham.
Speaking of Spurs, Tosun was described as being the ‘Turkish Harry Kane’ ahead of the clash.
The official Premier League website run a headline in a feature article on Tosun named ‘Turkish Harry Kane’ set to face Spurs striker.
Tosun was described by Turkish Premier League pundit for S Sport – the Premier League’s exclusive broadcaster in Turkey – Ugur Meleke as being very similar to Harry Kane.

“He is so much alike to Kane,” Meleke said.
“He uses both feet very well, he is good in the air, and is both a playmaker and a striker, like a No 9 and a half.
“He is not as big a player as Kane yet but he has the potential to be.”
Tosun is familiar with Tottenham having played the North London based outfit during his time at Besiktas.
The striker scored the last time he faced Spurs in the 1-0 Europa League victory back in 2014.
Kane meanwhile scored in the first group game against the Black Eagles in the 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane.
The Turkey international will make Everton history if he scores again versus Spurs, becoming the first Toffees player to score a debut goal at Wembley Stadium.
