Turkish Super Lig reigning champions Besiktas are in talks with West Ham United over their star striker Diafra Sakho.
According to the daily Turkish paper Fanatik, Besiktas officials are in negotiations with West Ham. The Black Eagles want to sign the Senegal international on loan until the end of the season.
However, the report goes on to state that West Ham are not keen on allowing Sakho to leave on loan and are demanding a €10 million fee.
The Hammers know Besiktas have cash to spare after they sold Cenk Tosun to Everton for £27 million last week. The Turkey international made his debut against Tottenham over the weekend.
Fanatik also stated that Besiktas president Fikret Orman is trying to convince West Ham to allow Sakho to join Besiktas on a loan deal.
Besiktas have also been linked with move for Arsenal’s Danny Welbeck, Swansea City’s Wifried Bony and Leicester City’s Islam Slimani.
